It was in the late '60's when Gene Parsons and Clarence White collaborated to invent what we now know as the Parsons White string bender guitar. This was not the first string bender, but is the combination of genius design and masterful playing skill which which shaped the sound of country music. The Parsons White string bender design is one of those American inventions much like the Telecaster that created a new industry and style of guitar players.

    We have begun reproducing these string benders using various manufacturing techniques designed to reduce the cost of production while maintaining the robust quality of the P/W bender.

    Our P/W benders have found their way into custom bender guitars all around the country. WD Music Products is our national distributor, and has a growing list of bender bodies, finished and unfinished, all pre-routed to accept the Parsons White B-bender. WD and SteelBender Innovations have teamed up to supply the bender guitar musician with quality components and continue producing the bender that started it all.
